Eon John was born in Guyana and moved to the United States as a boy. His mother, Yvonne John was a celebrity chef in the US with successful restaurants and wrote 2 cookery books featuring Guyanese Cuisine Eon worked initially as a professional musician, a career he still enjoys to this day. Eon has had recording deals for Virgin, EMI and Naked Records, and toured with Blondie, Toots and the Maytals and The Wailers amongst others. |
His passion how ever has always been food and his culinary career spans right across the globe working in Germany, France, Spain and the UK alongside some of the top chefs in the world. Which landed him with a cookery show pilot for the BBC Saturday Morning Kitchen Show. Eon is a natural talent and has been performing for over 30 years to large concert and TV audiences. Eon has also starred in a full length feature film called Respect which premièred in London and New York.The film also showed at the Cannes Film Festival France. |
